Dew Point Corrosion Barriers
  • COMBAT Defiance

    Capable of withstanding continuous temperatures up to 500 0F,

    COMBAT Defiance is the flagship product for dew point corrosion protection anywhere in combustion systems.
    COMBAT Defiance can be used as a hot face coating in stacks and ductwork moving hot gases in and out of pollution control systems.
    COMBAT Defiance is a high temperature urethane stabilized asphaltic product that is shipped in 4 gallon kits.
    COMBAT Defiance can be sprayed, toweled, brushed or rolled onto steel surfaces with minimal steel preparation.

  • COMBAT Tango Down

    COMBAT Tango Down is a primer that can be applied to clean steel surfaces that have been "preped" for application of  HT Mastic 500, HT Mastic 500NF or CorrFX 600. Why bother? Two reasons: 1. Bad Weather, Schedueling, material shortages -
    COMBAT Tango Down can be quickly sprayed over "preped" steel surfaces in a thin 2-4 mil layer with a garden sprayer in the event of unforeseen problems that might prevent application of the final 125 mil mastic coating. 2. Use of
    COMBAT Tango Down allows for surface preparation and priming of steel surfaces at one location and final application of 125 mil mastic coating at another WITHOUT repeating any sandblasting. You can prep the steel half way around the world and then apply the final coating on site without additional expense for up to ONE YEAR!

  • COMBAT Flacjak

    For extreme corrosion protection,

    COMBAT FlacJak replaces banned carcinogenic Coal Tar Epoxy's.
    COMBAT FlacJak is a No VOC two component epoxy that far outperforms its predecessor. There is no shrinkage loss and
    COMBAT FlacJak can be applied in 1/3 the thickness specified for asphaltic Mastics such as HT Mastic 500. This hard coating is impact resistant and will withstand sulfuric acid concentrations up to 75%.

  • KilnCoat 2100

    An inorganic ceramic coating capable of withstanding temperatures in excess of 2100 0F, KilnCoat 2100 forms a reactive bond to carbon steel surfaces (see photo on data sheet). KilnCoat 2100 serves as an interface protecting steel from a variety of aggressive elements found in reducing combustion atmospheres. Unlike many ceramic to metal coatings, KilnCoat 2100 sticks due to a reactive molecular binding mechanism. This is a cutting edge product that is worthy of trials in applications where everything else fails! We are just beginning to discover its applications.

  • HT Mastic 500

    Traditional High Temperature Solvent based asphaltic mastic used behind refractory. HT Mastic 500 acts as an impenetrable moisture barrier that prevents corrosive condensation from damaging welds and furnace structures. Available in 5 gallon pails or 53 gallon drums, HT Mastic 500 is typically sprayed, brushed, troweled onto steel surfaces.  Continuous service temperatures up to 400 degrees 0F / Intermittent to 500 0F.

  • HT Mastic 500NF

    Equal in performance and function to HT Mastic 500, The water based HT Mastic 500NF has become the world s leading product used behind refractory systems in industrial furnace linings. Less costly to transport and quick to airfreight, this water based emulsion sprays with ease. There are no associated noxious fumes to deal with. HT Mastic 500NF cleans up with soap and water. HT mastic 500NF is more cost effective than its solvent based sister product HT Mastic 500.

  • CorrFX 600

    This water based asphaltic emulsion vapor barrier dew point corrosion protection system serves as a tough alternative to HT Mastic 500NF. CorrFX 600 exhibits higher temperature properties due to the removal of cellulose fibers. The addition of refractory clays to this product results in stability and a surface hardness that can withstand additional mechanical abuse. CorrFX 600 is one tough player!



Metal & Concrete Reconstruction
  • COMBAT NuMetal

    Metal repair is made easy with convenient small hand held Kits of epoxy filler and hardener. Add the two together, mix and apply the compound with the provided spatula.

    COMBAT NuMetal is an industrial strength version of the traditional metal fillers used on automobiles.
    COMBAT NuMetal can be sanded smooth and even "tapped" to accommodate threaded fasteners. This product has a long shelf life making it the perfect metal repair product to keep around in the maintenance department.  

  • COMBAT Diamond

    Available in small kits suitable for hand mixing,

    COMBAT Diamond is a metal filler / repair medium that contains Silicon Carbide and Alumina for hardness and abrasion resistance. This product will also adhere to concrete with the application of
    COMBAT Prime before use. Do not try to drill and tap
    COMBAT Diamond unless you need to replace your drill bits!

  • COMBAT Prime

    This two component epoxy primer is designed to penetrate into existing masonry materials and serve as an anchoring base for addition of any other

    COMBAT epoxy product. Once
    COMBAT Prime has been applied, the pre-existing concrete surface will give way to stress before the epoxy finish product.
    COMBAT Prime also serves as a binding agent to make concrete repair compounds. Mix gravel, sand, lightweight aggregate with
    COMBAT Prime and you have a hand packable concrete system that can withstand extreme concentrations of acids and alkali.
    COMBAT Prime is a great choice for reconstruction of concrete damaged from chemical attack.

  • COMBAT LiteCrete

    This low density fine aggregate made of spherical silica, when combined with

    COMBAT Prime, transforms into a very lightweight concrete repair medium. This cured compound is highly resistant to acids and alkalis.
    COMBAT LiteCrete floats on water indefinitely––will not saturate over time.
    COMBAT LiteCrete is the perfect repair medium where structural weight is a concern.

  • COMBAT Greez-IT

    COMBAT Greez-IT is a multi-task High Temperature Lubricant with outstanding performance in countless thermal applications.
    COMBAT Greez-It can be applied to equipment the same as traditional lubricants. At high temperature, the petroleum carrier evacuates leaving a specially formulated coating that bonds to the base metal. Forming a smooth low friction contact point by filling the imperfections and irregularities on metal surfaces that cause excessive wear on critical components–up to 2100° F.



Oxidation / Alkali Protection
  • COMBAT 86

    Dress up your plant by covering up ugly corrosion with this epoxy corrosion inhibitor.

    COMBAT 86 is formulated to be applied overtop of corroded surfaces entombing the problem and inhibiting further degradation of metal surfaces.
    COMBAT 86 is a UV resistant two component that is available in an industrial gray color that covers hard to get to corrosion like seen on grated walkways and structural beams.
    COMBAT 86 is available in 1 gallon pails or convenient pint size repair kits.  This is a great  product to keep on hand for touch-up of unsightly corrosion.

  • COMBAT 250

    This is an "all-purpose" two component epoxy finish coat that is as much cosmetic as a corrosion barrier.

    COMBAT 250 is 100% solids with no VOC's.
    COMBAT 250 can withstand continuous temperatures up to 250 °F. In addition,
    COMBAT 250 resists corrosion at above or below 50% concentrations acids and various other corrosive agents.
    COMBAT 250 is available in a wide variety of colors. Prime the floor with
    COMBAT Prime before painting yellow or red stripes on industrial floors. This stuff sticks and will not wear out.  

     

  • COMBAT 350

    As stated in the name,

    COMBAT 350 will withstand continuous temperatures of 350 °F.  With increased temperature resistance comes increased corrosion resistance.
    COMBAT 350 is capable of withstanding 98% sulfuric acid and 50% Sodium Hydroxide concentrations.
    COMBAT 350 is a two component epoxy comprised of 100% solids and no VOC's.  

     

  • COMBAT 450

    Hydrochloric 100%, Hydrofluoric 35% and Sulfuric Acid 100% concentrations. This is the ultimate cross-linked epoxy.

    COMBAT 450 withstands continuous operation temperature of 450 °F. When nothing else works, bring in the best. Any need higher than this would be at Chernobyl or a Superfund site.

  • COMBAT Greez-IT

    COMBAT Greez-IT is a multi-task High Temperature Lubricant with outstanding performance in countless thermal applications.
    COMBAT Greez-It can be applied to equipment the same as traditional lubricants.   • COMBAT Defiance

    Apply

    COMBAT Defiance in applications over 250 oF  and the surface becomes hard enough to resist particulate abrasion in dust collection systems and stacks.
    COMBAT Defiance is rated at a maximum temperature of 500 0F. Asphalt sticks to any metal surface with minimal preparation––it is also easy to repair. Consider
    COMBAT Defiance as a low cost alternative to temperamental ceramic coatings that are best known for their ability to peel and flake.

  • COMBAT 250D

    If you are looking for the toughness and chemical resistance of a two component epoxy with additional abrasion resistance, consider

    COMBAT 250D. This product is identical to
    COMBAT 250, but with enhanced abrasion characteristics by the addition of powdered alumina. The result is a very high density epoxy that is tough stuff.

  • COMBAT MS-150

    Bonding ceramic abrasion tile to steel surfaces is  best accomplished with a high strength epoxy adhesive.

    COMBAT MS-150 is a cost competitive adhesive that is not only strong, but resists a variety of chemical agents.
    COMBAT MS-150 is 100% solids and contains no VOC's.

  • COMBAT Greez-IT

    This  innovative emulsion asphalt has a 20% higher density than our traditional HT Mastic 500NF. With the addition of refractory materials, CorrFX 600 air dries into a hard durable surface capable of withstanding abrasion and temperatures up to 500 0F continuous. CorrFX 600 washes with water and can easily be sprayed, rolled  or brushed onto metal surfaces with minimal surface preparation.
